Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai

Excellent stay! Our room had a fantastic view of the three-piece bathroom, and it was spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the swimming pool was also pristine. Everyone greeted us warmly, which was a lovely touch. Overall, it was a superb experience, and we'll definitely be back. The breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious, with a great variety of food.

The environment is great, and the room view is fantastic. The executive lounge offers afternoon tea snacks. The front desk service was also excellent; I felt so warmly welcomed by Ella. Overall, my stay was wonderful!

The location is unbeatable! From the room, you can see the river, and the hotel is right next to Super Brand Mall. The Oriental Pearl Tower is just a 10-minute walk away, and the Xiaoyang Shengjian nearby is delicious.

The room was clean, tidy, and odorless. The service was warm and friendly, and replenishment was quick. They even provided complimentary fruit. The surrounding area offers convenient shopping, and the river view from the river-view room was unbeatable, with iconic landmarks right in front of us. It was a great experience, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai.

This is one of my go-to hotels whenever I'm in Shanghai. The location is excellent, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff are very welcoming. It's super convenient for getting around, and I always have a pleasant stay. A special shout-out to Yan Yuyin at the front desk for her meticulous service – her name really stuck with me! Excellent location, spacious room. We were upgraded to a river view room, which was very comfortable. Definitely lives up to its reputation as a seasoned five-star hotel. Highly recommended!

Celebrated my child's birthday here. I hadn't made a note in advance, but when I checked in, I mentioned it to Summer Fan at the front desk. I really appreciate the little toy and special treat she arranged, and also her proactively offering to set up the sofa bed for us. The hotel itself is a bit old-fashioned but very clean. It's not cheap, but for Lujiazui, it offers really good value for money. The housekeeping staff on the 28th floor were also excellent, very quick to respond to guest requests. The afternoon tea at the Horizon Club was quite nice, and dinner was decent, though the dinner at Shangri-La Ningbo is still the best. The parking lot has two levels, and it was very empty on the weekend, but on Monday, it filled up with cars from nearby office workers, making it a bit tight. The roof of Zhengda Plaza obstructed the view from the Zijing Building, so next time I'll try a river-view room in the Pujiang Building.

Facilities: Well-maintained overall. Hygiene: Acceptable. Environment: Excellent location. Service: Up to par. Good value for money. I might come back again if I have the chance. I've stayed at most of the hotels around here, and the Shangri-La generally offers great value. Giving it a full five stars! Light meal set at the Western Pastry Shop: Good. Kids' breakfast (under 6): Very good, we were promptly seated.
